Track gently.
Eat plenty.
A calorie tracker, macro tracker and AI food diary that doesn't make you feel bad for eating bread. Log food, steps, exercise, weight and nutrients in seconds. Review AI suggestions before they touch your diary.

The Journal is now
built around your day.
Meelo now brings food, steps and logged exercises into one swipeable daily space. The free tracker is still the whole tracker; Pro adds AI, plans, fasting and deeper review tools.
Also new: editable AI result review, calendar-backed weight entries, detailed statistics, persistent nutrient targets, theme previews and app icon variants for native builds.
Food, steps, exercise
Swipe between calories, adjustable step goals and logged workouts from the same Journal spot.
Real progress charts
Weight history, macro split, day-of-week rhythm, streaks and honest patterns over time.
Nutrients that stay yours
Targets come from your plan, and manual changes stay saved instead of resetting tomorrow.
Themes and icons
Preview Ember, Sage, Slate, Amber, Onyx, Cream and Gold before switching the app style.
We built Meelo because we got tired of food trackers that turn dinner into homework.
The ones that send you a notification at 9pm asking why you didn't log breakfast. The ones where a cup of yogurt takes four screens to enter. Meelo is the tracker we wanted ourselves: fast enough that we actually use it, quiet enough that we don't dread opening it.
The basics are free because they should be. The AI features are paid because they cost us money to run. And if you forget to log today, that's between you and your day. We're not going to notify you about it.
Logging takes about
three taps.
Search a food, pick how much you had, log it. You can usually do it one-handed at the kitchen counter while the kettle boils.
+1 plant today.
Just say what
you had.
No four-screen forms. Type a sentence, say it out loud, or snap a photo. Meelo turns "Greek yogurt with blueberries and granola" into a logged meal with the macros filled in.
The quick-log screen. Plain-language entry, with your recent meals one tap away.
Everything you'd
actually use.
The basics are free. Pro adds AI logging, recipe import, curated plans, fasting and deeper insights. Store prices are localized by region.
A food search that knows Europe
Database from PantraLabs. Knows skyr, knäckebröd, Bonduelle, the lot. Brand names you'd actually buy.
Barcode scanning
Point your camera at the back of any EU product. Works on most things from the supermarket.
Macros and 27 nutrients
Protein, fiber, magnesium, sodium, all of it. Show what you care about; hide the rest. RDA suggestions follow your plan.
A mode without numbers
Hide calories and weight whenever you need to. We keep tracking variety and macros quietly in the background.
Steps and exercise
Daily steps, adjustable step goals and logged exercise sit right beside your food card.
Themes and app icons
Pick Ember, Sage, Slate, Amber, Onyx, Cream or Gold. Native builds can swap the launcher icon too.
When numbers
don't help.
Counting calories isn't right for everyone, and sometimes it isn't right for today. Flip a switch and the numbers disappear. Meelo still tracks plants and macros in the background, you just don't see them.
You can turn the numbers back on whenever. We won't ask why.
30 plants
a week.
Tim Spector's research at King's College keeps coming back to plant variety as the strongest predictor of gut health. Thirty different plants a week. A leaf, a legume, a herb, a seed, a berry. Each one counts once.
Most people eat about 10. It's a softer goal than a calorie target, and easier to actually hit. Meelo counts them quietly while you log normally.
Available on
iOS and Android.
Download Meelo from the App Store or Google Play. If you find something off, we read every email.
Free on the basics, no card required. Pro has a 3-day trial and store-localized pricing.
