Meelo is a wellness app, not a medical device. Use it as a guide, not a doctor. Don't abuse it, don't try to break it, and don't share your account. Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel; cancellation is one tap inside the app. We're not liable for clinical decisions you make based on what the app shows you.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Meelo, an Estonian private limited company ("Meelo", "we"), governing your use of the Meelo iOS application and any related services (together, "the Service").
By creating an account, downloading, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Meelo. By using the Service you represent that you meet this minimum age.
You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account, including the security of your authentication credentials. You agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorised use.
You may not share your account, sell access to it, or transfer it to another person.
Subject to these Terms, Meelo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Meelo App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use.
All rights, title, and interest in the App, including all intellectual property rights, remain with Meelo. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or create derivative works from the App, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
Meelo offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro is billed monthly or annually as elected at sign-up, in the currency of your App Store or Google Play account.
Pro is offered with a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers where supported by the store. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to paid at the rate selected.
You can cancel at any time:
Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain Pro access for the remainder of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months unless required by applicable consumer law.

You retain ownership of all data you log into the Service: meals, weights, custom foods, photos, notes ("Your Content"). By using the Service you grant Meelo a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, and process Your Content solely to deliver the Service to you.
This license terminates when you delete the relevant content or your account, except where retention is required for legal or backup purposes (see Privacy Policy §6).
Meelo is a wellness and educational tool, not a medical device. The information and metrics shown by the App are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Nutrition data is sourced from third parties (including the open Open Food Facts database) and may contain inaccuracies. Calorie burn estimates are approximations based on activity data.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making meaningful changes to your diet, exercise, or weight. If you have a history of disordered eating, please consult a clinician before tracking calories or weight in any app, including this one. Our ED-aware mode is a harm-reduction default, not a treatment.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have diabetes, an eating disorder, or any other medical condition, do not rely on Meelo as a substitute for professional care.
In an emergency, call your local emergency number or, in the EU, 112.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of nutrition or fitness data.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those jurisdictions, such warranties are excluded only to the extent legally permissible. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Meelo, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or health outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meelo from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Service, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party rights.
You may terminate your account at any time from inside the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully; where practicable we will give notice and an opportunity to cure.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including License limits, Health Disclaimer, No Warranty, Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Governing Law, survive termination.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will give at least 30 days' notice via email and an in-app prompt before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting [email protected]. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, except where mandatory consumer laws provide otherwise.
